A prerequisite for the application is that the company/artist has in the last four years (from January 2019):

premiered or planned to premiere a production (digitally)
Scan of the organiser's or festival programme or a screenshot of the organiser's website (month and year must be visible!)
received public funding (project funding or scholarship funding or residency funding etc.).
Scan of a significant part of the funding notification or confirmation from the funding body or similar.

In certain circumstances, the following must be submitted additionally:

If applicable, proof of place of business in Germany (only necessary when submitting proof of funding from abroad)
Scan of the business registration or registration of the self-employed activity, etc.
If applicable, the company's/artist's right of representation: freelance representatives must submit a declaration from the company/artist stating that the trip is being made on their behalf.
A PDF document signed by the company/artist.

When submitting an application, you provide us with personal data (name, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, bank details, identity card number, sex, address, photographs of you, etc.) which will be processed by us or third parties in accordance with Article 6 b GDPR and which is required for processing of and the decision regarding your application and, if your application is approved, for the implementation of the funding process.

Processing of data by Dachverband Tanz Deutschland*

I consent to the collection, storage, processing and transmission to third parties by Dachverband Tanz Deutschland of the personal data contained in the application and all supplementary documents. The data processing is necessary for the handling, implementation, review, evaluation and publication of the measures related to the funding.

Notice on processing of personal data via services and products of Microsoft Corporation based in the USA

I consent to the DTD using products and services of Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft") (e.g. variants of the Microsoft 365 service) based in the USA for the internal processing of the funding application. In particular, excel documents are uploaded to Microsoft's cloud service "OneDrive". Data subject consents in the context of the application pursuant to Art. 49 para. 1, sentence 1, lit. a GDPR to the processing of personal data through the use of services and products of Microsoft in the USA. The DTD points out that the USA is assessed by the European Court of Justice as a country with an insufficient level of data protection according to EU standards. In particular, there is a risk that data may be processed by US courts, law enforcement agencies and national security authorities in accordance with US law for purposes of control and surveillance, possibly without judicial redress.

Transmission of the data to the BKM*

I declare that I am providing the personal data necessary for processing in accordance with the provisions of budgetary law and the relevant funding regulations voluntarily. I consent to the transmission of the application and proof of use of any funds received to the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).

Publication of the name of the applicant*

I consent to the publication of the name of the applicant or, if applicable, the name of the represented company/artist/studio/gallery/project space as well as the amount granted by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland.

Transmission of data for statistical purposes*

I consent to the processing and transmission of the data to the BKM, the Federal Administration Office and, if applicable, to an auditing company for statistical purposes.
