If you are going on a travel that is funded by Kreativ-Transfer or other federal funds, you have to take into account the regulations of the Federal Travel Expenses Act (BRKG). Applying the BRKG is not witchcraft, but questions, uncertainties and mistakes often arise that we want to answer or eliminate in this concise workshop: How does a correct calculation of (foreign) daily per diems look like, taking into account arrival and departure days and reductions due to free meals or breakfast in the hotel? How high is the overnight allowance in Germany? Can overnight stays in private accommodation, e.g. with friends, be deducted? Under what conditions can a private stay be connected to a funded travel? How can a travel by car be accounted for - and is the reimbursement of taxi costs possible?
Neele Renzland and Béla Bisom from transmissions give an introduction to the regulations of the Federal Travel Expenses Act (BRKG) and share important basic information that is necessary for a complete and correct travel expense report. They address typical mistakes in the practice and answer your individual questions about (foreign) per diems, accommodation allowance regulations, receipt storage obligations, mileage allowances & Co.
Please note: For trips funded by the Länder, the respective Länder travel expenses laws apply and cannot be discussed in this workshop.
Time permitting, we are also happy to answer individual questions on the accounting of Kreativ-Transfer funding (travel expenses as well as strategic projects).
A qualification format of the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland within the framework of the funding programme Kreativ-Transfer. Your free participation is made possible by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).

To accompany the travel grants, workshops, information events and informal get-togethers are usually offered online as well as at selected festivals and fairs to support professional preparation and follow-up and thus inspiring and sustainable participation in these events. The workshops, info events and get-togethers are aimed at the funding recipients as well as other interested parties. They serve the exchange of know-how and experience among colleagues as well as the transfer of knowledge by invited experts.
