For over 20 years, the history- and story-obsessed collective andcompany&Co. has been bringing distinctively political theater to the stage with its exuberant wordplays peppered with pop quotes: capitalism, communism, colonialism – and what all this has to do with the current climate crisis in a remix. Founded in 2003 in Frankfurt am Main by Alexander Karschnia, Nicola Nord and Sascha Sulimma, the group has been living and working in Berlin since 2007, where it has its artistic base at HAU Hebbel am Ufer.
Co-direction, co-authorship and co-production form the self-concept of andcompany&Co., who conceive, compose and recombine together with artists, scientists, activists or young people. The performances are always open to new influences and formats and yet are unmistakable in their equal interlocking of text, music and image. In addition to plays and lecture-concerts, andcompany&Co. produce radio plays and performances for the digital space.

Repetition, pedestrian elements, gestures, stillness and movement, order and chaos are at the core of Milla Koistinen´s work – shifting from real to imagined space, from recognizable and every day to the strange and poetic. Bringing together non-professionals of various ages and backgrounds with professional performers is influential to her choreographic process. The shift from the seemingly natural to the abstract is a crucial aspect of her work, as she crafts experiences and spaces that invite the audience to engage in diverse ways.
In her latest creations, One Next To Me, Breathe, and Magenta Haze, Koistinen explores the relationship between individual and crowd. All three works invite the spectator to observe a choreography of subtle tipping points between distance and closeness, togetherness and estrangement, fragility and strength.
Currently Koistinen is working on a new solo GRIT (for what it’s worth), which will premiere in November 2024.

As a dancer and choreographer, Patricia Carolin Mai produces dance pieces with the main production location at Kampnagel and at K3 | Choreographic center Hamburg. Her pieces tour internationally e.g. in Italy, Belgium, Israel and Korea. The focus of her choreographic work is the investigation of the body as an archive. She works not only with professionally trained dancers, but also with people of all ages who are not trained in the performing arts and therefore have a different, personal view of the body and movement. In 2016-2019, she developed the trilogy about “bodies in states of emergency” with the pieces Ready to Snap, Balagan Body & Hamonim. For her group piece Gal-Gal with the 99 Art Company, she was awarded the “International Choreography Award Goyang 2020”. In 2020, tanz highlighted Patricia as a “newcomer” and remarkable personality of the German dance scene. In cooperation with the composer Alexander Schubert, she created a choreography for Asterism at Le Maillon Strasbourg in 2021 and Anima at the Center Pomidou Paris in 2022. In 2023, together with 104 dancers, she completed her trilogy on “Practices of Community” with the production Rausch.

Yotam Peled & the Free Radicals is an ensemble established in September 2018, following the creation of Entropia, as part of ‘THINK BIG’ project at the State Opera of Hannover. It acts as a project-based company engaging different freelancers, focusing on contemporary interdisciplinary creation - addressing topics of gender, power structures and community rituals.
The ensemble’s focus is on creating and touring in Europe and it operates both in conventional and alternative spaces, often engaging in workshops and site-responsive projects. The ensemble's creative process is centered around the potential of movement to transform social codes, as such our physical practice is the engine of the work, gravitating between martial arts, contemporary dance and new circus.
